Adventure Collection

As with the Base Game Collection, players will only earn/discover Whimzu from the Adventure Collection by playing the game, questing, exploring, and battling. However, the similarities between the two collections ends there. The adventure collection will bring an added element of difficulty, luck, and chance encounters to the game which we believe will take an already exciting game from fun to insanely addicting. The two distinct differences between the Base Game and the Adventure collection are:

  1. The collection is finite and therefore will likely be more valuable on the open market

  2. Finding Whimzu from this collection and will occur entirely by chance at any given moment in any geographical area within the game or be given out as rewards.

About Chance Encounters

We won't give you the specifics of how these chance encounters will work (or they wouldn't be chance) but we find the concept so alluring that we felt this collection specifically necessitated a deeper analysis within this Whitepaper to give our community an idea of how this collection will actually function and how finding a Whimzu from the Adventure Collection will truly be a chance encounter rather than a pre-calculated catch rate.

For instance, in a game such as Pokémon, trainers can research the catch rate of a specific Pokémon. If a Pokémon has a 3% catch rate you know that if you search the grass and come across 100 Pokémon, 3 of them are likely to be the Pokémon you’re looking for.

In Whimzu the catch rate will be based on a number of factors, not the least of which will be total number of hours played by the server/game. If you’re hoping to come across a Fabulous animal in the wild from the Adventure Collection, this will only happen at exceptionally long intervals. For instance, for every 1,000,000 hours played (not the actual interval… this is just an example) some lucky player will at random come across a wild Fabulous Whimzu. This will be designed to happen over the course of those million hours, not when the millionth hour occurs.

The effect that this has is that every type of player, be they battlers, questers, raiders, collectors, traders, P2P players or F2P players, have the opportunity to discover these animals, and therefore increase their collection free of charge and in turn improve their battling fortunes or their personal fortunes via selling on the open market.

  • 520,000 unique NFTs

  • 52 additional unique Whimzu species

  • 10,000 NFTs per Whimzu species

  • 8 character dispositions per Whimzu species
