  1. Game Overview

PVP

PvP and accompanying rewards will make up a significant portion of Whimzu. The game will rely on some classic PVP mechanisms in addition to a few key twists.

PvP Modes:

  1. Classic - This will mode will feature PvP systems that we all know and love including 1v1, 2v2, and 4v4

  2. Battle Royale - 20 player match with 3 lives a piece

  3. Whimzu Only - This mode takes your main avatar out of the picture and lets you compete with and test only the mettle of your Whimzu

  4. Equalized Matches - We believe the best show of how good a player is should come down entirely to their skill in combat. That’s why we’ve created equalized matches where players can enter 1v1 or 2v2 matches and battle against other players with equal stats and levels. In this game mode, your character and your animals all receive a predetermined base level and are stripped of any gear that might have otherwise enhanced their ability to combat. The end result is the fairest fight you could hope to have with only your wits and skills to serve you. We want all our PvP modes to be popular and have great incentives to join, but, we intend to have the best rewards and rarest Whimzu come from this game mode.

PvP Rankings:

Each mode will contain Monthly Rankings with the top 20% of each tier graduating to a higher tier at the end of the month, and the lowest 20% falling down a tier.

PvP Rewards:

Rewards will be earned at the end of each month with the best and most rare rewards going to the players who performed the best in their specific mode. Rewards that can be earned will include, but are not limited to:

  1. $ALAN (in game currency)

  2. Whimzu of variable rarity

  3. NFT's from other Partner Collections

  4. Gear

  5. Items

Finally, all PvP participants who complete the minimum set number of matches will be eligible to earn a Whimzu each month through a lotto system. We love a good game of chance and we think sprinkling chance throughout our game in a variety of ways is a nice way to surprise and delight our players as well as help ensure the game isn’t about paying to win. In this way, someone completely new to the game could win an airdrop of a very rare Whimzu just for playing.

It should be noted that these rewards won’t always be Whimzu from the in-game collections. We will frequently look to acquire and gift NFTs from other collections as part of this lotto system.
