The Whimzu Preserve

The Whimzu Preserve will be our version of Staking NFT's. We believe this feature is important for two reasons:

  1. Add additional financial incentive for our community

  2. Create an optional burn mechanism for NFT's specifically in the Base Game Collection to help supply and demand economics

How it Works:

In game, there will be a place where you can choose to release your Whimzu into a protected wildlife sanctuary where it can’t be caught, traded, battled, or leveled up. Depending on what collection the Whimzu is from, players will be able to choose to either lock it up for a time period in exchange for a small annualized return, or, burn the NFT completely by releasing the Whimzu indefinitely for a larger annualized return.

Only NFTs that can be found, discovered, or earned IN GAME would qualify for burning. The Foundation, Mythical, and partnership collections would not be eligible for this feature.
