Server Level
To incentivize camaraderie within the game, we plan on introducing the concept of server level. Using World of Warcraft as an example, there was always a race between servers for guilds to be the first to down the latest world boss. Who actually was the first to take down Ragnaros in vanilla WoW will always be a contested point of history, but only the people who were in on that raid benefited. Sadly, no one else on the server did.
To increase drive to play the game and make everyone feel like they’re working together to combat the main villains and their minions, we will introduce the idea of server level, where there is a definitive end to the game based on a series of criteria which might include:
Total server hours played
Number of Whimzu freed from captivity
Number of specific quests completed that push toward endgame
Number of rare Whimzu discovered
Etc…
Once a server finally meets all those criteria, it triggers the world boss which everyone will have to work together to combat and defeat. Upon achieving victory, the server will “level up” to the next level. Everyone currently playing at that time will receive a large reward (actual reward TBD), access to new Whimzu NFT’s, and other worthwhile bonuses. After which, the game resets and the server is now known as a Level 2 server. No change to the gameplay will occur, but the rewards at the end of besting level 2 are better than level 1. So on and so forth
